Are  Corporations  People?

…and is money free speech, thus protected by the 1st amendment?

Recent court decisions have turned campaign financing on its head.  The recent Citizens United v FEC gave the green light to corporations to spend without limit to elect or oppose candidates for office.  How does this effect campaign finance reforms in place at the time?  Arizona’s Clean Elections program is also in jeopardy because of the court’s objection to the use of tax money to finance campaigns.  How will these decisions effect the coming elections?  Since they are unpopular among voters, are there any possible remedies—or should there be?  Join us in a lively discussion of the pros and cons resulting from these decisions featuring AZ District 15 Representative Kyrsten Sinema,  Dr. Nick Dranias, Director of the Center for Constitutional Government, Goldwater Institute and Mr. Steve Lee, Legal Counsel, Arizona Civil Liberties Union.
